Trade Corridor UK - US New Developments, Challenges & Opportunities

Join OWIT South Florida & OWIT UK on June 25 11am EDT / 4pm BST for a timely discussion of new developments, challenges and opportunities in the UK - US trade corridor.

With upcoming general elections in both the UK and the US, and the ongoing trade negotiations between the two countries which started with Brexit five years ago, 2024 is a pivotal year for transatlantic trade.

We have the pleasure of welcoming as our first speaker Emanuel Adam, Executive Director and Chief Trade Policy Officer at BritishAmerican Business. A policy advocate and specialist in transatlantic trade and investment, Emanuel has had a pivotal role in making trade promotion accessible to smaller businesses.

We will also be joined by Elizabeth Botsford, Global Legal Specialist at Safe Sign Technologies, who co-founded a successful transatlantic service business.

In our conversation, we will be exploring:

- Key developments across the UK – US trade corridor in the current political context

- Challenges and opportunities in transatlantic trade between the UK and US

- Available support for SMEs and women-owned companies, and how to access it

- The role of building strong networks to facilitate transatlantic trade and partnerships

- Results from the latest BAB Trade and Investment Guide 2024/2025, developed in partnership with Select USA and the UK Department for Business & Trade: https://lnkd.in/dKiNrb2P

The webinar will be moderated by Barbara Grunewald, Secretary of OWIT South Florida and Véronique Rapetti, VP Programming & Partnerships, OWIT UK .

Join us on Tuesday 25 June at 11am EDT / 4pm BST for a lively and interactive conversation!
